Black and White thinking

Black and White thinking can be damaging to your mental health.  It is an all or nothing way of looking at life, you succeed or fail, are perfect or a failure.  Try to think in shades of grey, don’t make snap judgements.  Take a second and review the situation before making a decision.  Things are usually different to how you initially see them.

Albert Einstein wrote, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
